“WORLD-WIDE DAY OF the TOURISM " In his third meeting (Torremolinos, Spain,
September of 1979), the General Assembly of the World-wide Organization of
Turismo (OMT) decided to institute as of 1980 a WORLD-WIDE DAY OF the TURISM
that would commemorate the 27 of September of every year with acts adapted on
subjects that the General Assembly of the OMT by recommendation of its Executive
Advice would select.
