“50 ANNIVERSARY OF the VOTE OF the WOMEN IN MEXICO " the 17 of October of 1953
the Mexican State recognized the right of the women to vote and to be elect,
when the reform to articles 34 and 115 of our Constitution was promulgated. This
event, result of almost half century of intense fight, laid the the foundations
for the incorporation of more than half of the population to the civic life and
the political processes of Mexico.
