“75 ANNIVERSARY OF the HOST BUILDING OF the HEALTH SECRETARIAT " the Host
building of the Secretariat of Health, originally designed to lodge the offices
of the Department of Salubrity and Hygiene, was projected by Carlos Obregón
Santacilia, outstanding architect of principles of century XX. The building
appears in the first quarter of century like a cultural answer to the
revolutionary movement and the paradigms that were against, being in a
nationalistic exposition that is nourished of an intense controversy that it
tries to define the national identity in all the artistic expressions.
