“50 ANNIVERSARY OF the INDUSTRY OF TELEVISION BY CABLE OF MEXICO " the television by cable was born of the limitations in reach of the open television and the necessity of the viewers, to count on more options of better quality of image and sound.
In 1954, Sonora was the first state in which a System of television by cable in Mexico and America settled; its function was to trasmitir the signals of the open television and this fué the detonating for the development of the industry at National level.
At the moment the Industry has a cover that includes all the national territory with 76 thousand Kilometers wirings which turns it the second more important infrastructure of telecommunications of the country, with a teleaudiente of 15 million of Mexican and of 40 million potential users.
