Etymologically Filatelia it comes from “Philos” whose meaning is love or friendship and “Telos” that mean pay in advance. The Filatelia word was proposed by the collector “Him Collectionneur de Timbres Post”. The search of stamps, seals, you envelope, cards, documents of certain countries and subjects, happening through the identification of each piece, the catalogue consultations, the study of the designs, and varieties, among others, until the definitive positioning of the stamps in the leaves of the album, form in sum a set that is included under the term of Filatelia.
