 In 1944, in the heat of World War II, during the Conference of Dumbarton Oaks began the negotiations for the creation of the United Nations (the UN). Finally of the 25 of April to the 26 of June of 1945 I am carried out the Conference of San Francisco, in whom the “Letter of the United Nations” was agreed to. The constituent instrument of the United Nations was approved unanimously and signed by all the representatives of this conference. The “letter of the United Nations” took effect the 24 of October of 1945, once the 50 charter members deposited their instruments of ratification.
