(1956-2006) The Latin American Tower later began its construction in the year of 1949 to be inaugurated 7 years, the 30 of April of 1956. Specific techniques of laying of foundations for a seismic zone were used, some for the first time; an excavation that compensates the weight of the building with the Earth extracted, direct support in piles on firm base in the subsoil, and application of the hydraulic brace according to the pressures of the phreatic movements on the laying of foundations slab.
