The job of postman in the New Spain came from the hand of reforms borbónicas. Its functions are derived from a trade Hispanic that had existed since the twelfth century, El Correo. The small differences that make the important job of postman and mail are: the postman distributes home, while mail travels from one city to another, the first runs streets, makes stops in mailboxes, the second passing by stopped and uncertain road in post.
