This year, the Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex) Met 125th years of being integrated into the economic and financial life of our country. Is was not a mere witness, has been dynamic and committed actor.

The foundation of the National Bank of Mexico in the year 1884 coincided with the institutional consolidation of the modern Mexican state. The interaction of both was throughout history and has been crucial both for the bank to the country's development.

Banamex has adapted to the changes in Mexican society, and this has happened to a creative and innovative vocation, and has participated in a series of activities that go beyond strictly banking functions.
