   " TEACHER'S DAY"

The Congress established the Teacher's Day in Mexico by decree published in the Official Gazette of December 3, 1917. The first celebration was May 15, 1918 as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for the work of primary teachers in particular.

In Mexico, for decades we have designed various policies which have resulted in the construction of strong literacy programs across the country providing pre-school, primary and secondary education to the children of Mexico. Giving them the tools to live better, but the concern of the authorities especially the education is not only for children but also for those young people and adults who for various reasons were not able to overcome capacity and from classrooms National Institute for Education.
