   " ROAD SAFETY "

23 - NOVIEMBRE - 2009

In Mexico, traffic accidents have become the leading cause of deaths among the population aged 15 and 35 years old and second leading cause of orphanhood. Have been reported over 20,000 deaths per year, 750 mil serious injuries requiring hospitalization and account for more than 39,000 disabled people each year. Traffic accidents are a serious health problem that directly attacks the most important part of our active and productive population. Most of these accidents are preventable and have been shown to prevent or lessen the severity of damage by promoting road safety.
