The archaeological site of El Tajin is one of the most important political and religious world of the prehistoric, its strategic location made it one of the most important trade routes between the Gulf of Mexico and the central region.

The year 1992 was declared World Heritage by UNESCO, making it one of 12 national heritage sites and one of the most important archaeological sites in the State of Veracruz, its architecture is one of the most important in Mexico old.

Tajin is a space that was developed mind showing a complex social stratification, this internal development is presented in a short period (600 to 1200 A.D.) the center of the settlement is the product of a society with its own particular characteristics and that is by innuenciada Quetzalcoatl movement in ancient Mexico to 900 A.D.
