Mexico's commitment to the global effort to tackle climate change category chart. Mexico is a country vulnerable to adverse effects and is determined to reduce their missions in the short and medium term to redirect its growth model towards a low carbon development. During the COP15 in Copenhagen in

December 2009, States Parties acceptance by a formal decision of the same, the offer of the Government of Mexico to host the COP16 in its territory, and determined that the holding period would be November 29 to December 10, 2010.
