Mexico has been distributed by the legal recognition of fundamental rights from the constitutions of 1814 and 1824. To ensure compliance by the State, it was necessary legal work such notables as Mariano Otero and Manuel Crescencio Rejón who instituted a system of defense of individual rights, also known as Profetion, which was included in the Reform Act 1847 and was enshrined in the Constitution of 1857.
