The Congress established the Teacher's Day in Mexico by Decree published in the Official Journal of the Federation on December 3, 1917. The first event was the May 15, 1918, as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation to the work of primary teachers, mainly.
Public policies in Mexico have resulted in building strong programs for preschool, primary and secondary schools and taught to children in Mexico. The dedicated teachers transmit their knowledge to live better.
