The Superior Court of Justice of the Federal District and the Council of the Federal District Court, recognizing the important and outstanding performance of women in service delivery and administration of justice.


That is why, dated 10 October 2007, created the Gender Equality Committee, among other actions, has led the commemoration of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, established by the United Nations, in honor of the Mirabal sisters who were persecuted, imprisoned and killed on November 25, 1950, for their political views and their struggle against the regime of Rafael Trujillo in the Dominican Republic.
